Welcome to SEPS (Situation Effective Protection System), the official website
of the SEPS self defense/self protection system.
The system has been developed by a team of security, military and self defense experts in conjunction
with those skilled in the social sciences to meet the need for situation/context based self defense solutions.
As well as teaching physical solutions (i.e. martial arts/control & restraint techniques etc) to aggression and violence
SEPS also teaches the individual how to identify situations before they develop and how to prevent them or survive them
by using de-escalation and social communication techniques.
The system and its methodology for dealing with aggressive and violent situations has been taught to civilians (both
men and women) as well as law enforcement officers and military personnel both in Europe and North America. Advocating
de-escalation and diffusion over physical techniques the system has also been used in corporate environments to deal
with workplace aggression and even adult bullying.
